360 degrees of research

With over 1000+ academic research papers, articles, papers, and reports tucked away in dry documents, Hult had an opportunity to make this rich source of content more accessible and position its brand as a thought leader.

We introduced the Hult Research Lab - a dedicated online content hub on Hult's website to showcase these research articles organised by themes or industry sectors to make it easy for visitors to explore relevant content. The site incorporated multimedia elements such as infographics, video summaries, and podcasts related to the research articles.

Taking cues from science and academia to represent an abstract world where opinions and thoughts are presented from multiple viewpoints. The art direction leans toward imperfect translucent 3D shapes to challenge the expectation of traditional higher education research.

The idea

Imagine stepping into a space where the boundaries between physical and digital realities blur. These translucent shapes, meticulously crafted with precision, serve as the cornerstone of the lab's branding strategy. Each shape represents a facet of the lab's multifaceted research endeavours - leadership, sustainability and the future.

The utilisation of translucent materials gives a sense of transparency and openness, symbolising the lab's commitment to knowledge-sharing and collaboration. Light dances through the space, casting intricate patterns and shadows.
